This is a snowy adventure in Lappish forest! You get all needed equipments and we head to near forests to learn about arctic nature and enjoy stories about the culture and history of the Lappish people. We will have an atmosphere-rich snowmobile safari in the darkness through the beautiful Lappish countryside. On the way we will stop in the deep forest to fry sausages and reindeer toast over the open fire and have hot juice drink. 3 hour husky safari into deep forest
We will drive to the Husky Farm by car and get familiar with the life of husky dogs. Then it is time to jump into the sledge and depart to the husky ride. The trail goes deeper to the forest and you’ll realize the amazing power of huskies. To stay warm we will stop for a hot and sweet berry juice. The length of the trail depends on the weather conditions and the skills of the participants. Usually it is 14-17 km. After the dog sledding we arrive back to our husky farm and warm up in cosy log cabin having coffee and cakes. Lots of talk about huskies and sled dog races will be served.

5 hour snowmobile safari to visit Snow Hotel
The Arctic Snow Hotel is located 35 km from the center of Rovaniemi at the Arctic Circle on the shore of a beautiful lake in the middle of peaceful Lappish nature. We will drive through the Lapland forests and over some frozen swamps and lakes. We will pass the farm village where some oldest houses were remained after the Second World War and a place where a wooden moose head dating back 8000 years was found. In the Snow Hotel you will also have the opportunity to taste the traditional Lappish cuisine in building called Kota. The route back will pass the same way.

First we will drive our snowmobiles to the husky farm where you will have a ride with those powerful sled dogs. We have warm and very interesting break in a Lappish tepee where the farmers tell great stories about the life at the Husky farm. After the visit the safari continues to the reindeer farm where you experience totally different ride, now with the reindeer. You will take part of the Arctic Circle Crossing Ceremony and receive your international Reindeer Driver’s license! Traditional Lappish style lunch will be served during the safari.

The tour will start with the snowmobile safari to the Reindeer Farm where you will meet the animals and hear a lot of stories about the way of life in North told around an open fire in the Lappish tepee. You will cross the Arctic Circle will be awarded with the Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate. Beside that you will also receive an international reindeer driver’s license! After visiting the Farm, we will continue the journey by coach to the the Santa Claus Village where we will have lunch. After that you will be able to look around in the village and even meet the Santa in person!

GENERAL INFORMATION
- Weekly winter programs will be organized from 1 December until April 2011 depending of the snow conditions.
- Bookings should be made at the latest 3 days before departure at 3 p.m.
- The minimum number of participants is two persons paying full price.
- Departure point of the safari will be informed while booking or in reasonable time before the travel date.
- Guidance for the safari will be always in English.
- The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least fifteen years old, and hold a valid driver’s license.
- The driver of the snowmobile is responsible for any possible damage caused to the snowmobile. All snowmobiles are insured (medical care and injuries), max self liability for damage caused to the snowmobile is 800 € per accident.
- If the temperature falls below -20 degrees Celsius, children will be taken to the visiting points by car if the destination can be reached by road.
The operator reserves the right to make alterations to the programs, price, duration or form of transportation without prior warning. This also concerns changes in programs as a result of weather conditions.
